West Ham winger Mohammed Kudus is far too classy an operator to openly criticise former Hammers manager David Moyes. However, sometimes what people don’t say is as telling as the things they do.
Kudus has just given an insightful interview to West Ham’s in-house media team, and anyone listening to the Ghanaian’s words can be in little doubt that he is incredibly excited about the season ahead.
Moreover, the former Ajax man is clearly salivating at the prospect of being able to deploy his formidable footballing skills within the framework of an attacking, possession-based team.
Claret & Hugh were informed this week by a top West Ham source that Kudus was “100% staying,” and it’s clear the player has big plans at The London Stadium.
While looking forward to his latest adventure, Kudus said, āHis [Lopetegui’s] style is how I want to play, how I want to attack as a winger, and there is a lot of freedom, which allows me to do that. That is the most important thing for meāthat Iām allowed to play how I want to. He has different tactics and a different style, but we are all working together to push the club to the level where we want it to be.
āTo start and announce myself, it was quite a good start for me personally [last season], but I believe I still have so much in me that I can still show to everyone. We will work on it and try to double how I performed last season and be even better going forward.
āPersonally, I want to do better than I did last season with numbers and performances, but most importantly help the team get back into Europe and challenge for the top six. Thatās what my personal goal is around, helping the team.”
Sullivan and kretinsky need to get on board with Lopetegui and steinden! They need the financial backing to rebuild the first team and squad.I donāt understand why they arenāt being backed up by our board? This window will define west hams team for years to come if they get it right !!! COYI
Oh yeah were definitely going to finish top four under magic J-Lo and Super Timmy Steidten.
The new ”BOSS” nows what hes players want and can do already. i personally think that if he along with Tim lets them play in the style there used to playing in i can see us fighting to get into the top 4 with some luck……COYI.
Good lad. Absolutely buzzing for this new era at West Ham. Got faith in J-Lo and Tim and if we get our genuine targets over the line before silly season shuts then we’re in for the ride of our lives next season! COYI!
Can’t wait for first match, no more defensive boring games, and a style that suits Mo. Let’s go J LO
Defo!!
If Westham can have a squad of players with the commitment of ‘ Magic ‘ Mo Kudus then Westham will have a great season .
