Whilst the headlines might be on West Ham’s loanee Evan Ferguson who is twenty and can’t get a start under Potter, another twenty-year old striker has been ‘wowing them’ up Huddersfield way with his effort and attitude. It bodes well for West Ham since he’s Claret and Blue to the core and is desperate to fight his way in to the Hammers’ starting line up.
According to one Huddersfield fan who took to twitter/x to rave about West Ham’s twenty-year old on-loan striker Callum Marshall, if attitude were the sole deciding factor in success, Marshall would be a nailed – on superstar.
As the post comments – huge credit to Marshall:“‘A 20 year old, on loan, showing more for the badge on his chest than those that have been here years. He’s also still our top goalscorer despite now not getting as much game time as his performances have earned him.”
Nothing but admiration and respect for Callum Marshall for the way he’s not only played but conducted himself in a Huddersfield Town shirt.
He gives you 100% and fights for everything when on that pitch. Even if things aren’t going great he won’t shy away from tough situations.… https://t.co/KLm9NghlUv pic.twitter.com/vxH7hP2mEN

Respect is due, young man, let us hope your talent matches your attitude: We’d love to share your journey and see you crashing in the goals for the Irons someday soon.
Scarles, Earthy, Potts, Casey, Marshall, Guilherme that’s over 50% of a squad.
All these lads may have potentialand and good reviews.
It’s a big jump from lower divisions and some may not make the grade but they need to be given the chance.
Even if only 2 or 3 of them prove to be ‘Rice’ quality they could be money savers.
Fantastic to see Calum’s loan working so well and the huge progress and commitment he is giving to Huddersfield. Brilliant to read their fan’s comments and appreciation of his work ethic and efforts for the club. Good luck young man really hope to see you back at West Ham and banging in goals for us next season.
Lovely to read about calum , respect and attitude show what a sensible young man he is . These are the type of people we need to flourish for west ham . After all there,s not a lot of respect in this country anymore.
Yes, good comment. Thankfully, Potter thinks the same. Character, not bling.
