Three breaks before Christmas – so annoying

We face three international breaks before the end of the year which is far too much and Arsene Wenger’s call for a World Cup every two years seems well out of order.

Here, Claret and Hugh FB follower Simon Barham offers his view as the Premier League gets broken up with these regular international calls on players.

And it really is very hard to disagree when most fans – probably because of international overload – simply want to watch their own teams each week, or most of them.

Arsene Wenger would be the last person to suggest a world cup every two years of he was still a club manager .

When we lost out to Poland for 1974, We only played four games in qualifying . I think nations like Gibraltar, The Faraway Islands, San Marino etc should play pre qualifiers to earn the right.

Three international breaks before Christmas is annoying as is adding more Champions League games .
