Three changes against Germans as Moyes gets serious

Mavropanos-West Ham

David Moyes has put out a seriously strong Hammers starting eleven for the game against SC Freiburg tonight.

The starting eleven sees only three changes from the team that started against Sheffield United.

Unsurprisingly two are Mohammed Kudus and Konstantinos Mavropanos and they are joined by Pablo Fornals although of course Michail Antonio has been left in London with a muscle problem.

Łukasz Fabiański captains the team and Mavropanos – who played his first Premier League minutes of the season on Saturday – joins Vladimír Coufal, Nayef Aguerd and German Thilo Kehrer.

As predicted on CandH, Edson Álvarez will start along with the outstanding midfielder James Ward-Prowse, who has two goals and five assists in seven appearances this season whilst Tomas Soucek is rested.

Lucas Paquetá makes his 50th Hammers appearance  during which time he has scored six goals and contributed eight assists. team news v Freiburg

Ghanaian Kudus is joined by Jarrod Bowen and there is a wealth of experience on the bench for a match we will be taking very seriously indeed.

West Ham United: Fabiański (c), Coufal, Mavropanos, Aguerd, Kehrer, Álvarez, Ward-Prowse, Fornals, Paquetá, Kudus, Bowen
Subs: Areola (GK), Anang (GK), Zouma, Ogbonna, Emerson, Souček, Coventry, Cornet, Benrahma, Ings, Mubama

Referee: Mohammed Al-Hakim (Sweden)
