Three major issues can be settled this afternoon

|

One point minimum this afternoon and two or three major issues are settled!

The first – despite the relentlessly boring media stories  – is that Declan Rice will still be at the club next season and maybe for a good while afterwards.

To have been part of the leadership team that has brought the Hammers this far and  into Europe, means he is reaching new highs in his club life of which he will want to be a part.

He’s not about to leave and even if there were inquiries or offers our prime sources have made it clear that he is simply not for sale at any price and that includes £100 million.

Truth is of course that as far is the window is concerned it seems to be all are player swap plus cash stories.

The Hammers will have none of that – cash is king but right now Declan is beyond the reach of any club that doesn’t come up with the dough.

The second is that our hugely professional Czechs will be going nowhere either having also been massive players in this fabulous season.

And the third is that with qualification, positional money and the transfer cash already set aside from January we may well be in the market in a bigger way than may expect.

The one unresolved issue is whether Jesse Lingard will be involved.
