Toffees look for perfect end to week after getting points back

Everton will be looking for a perfect end to their best week in some time by grabbing a double over the Hammers.

With their ten points deduction reduced to six this week, The Toffees sit in fifteenth place on 25 points as the Irons look to capitalise on their excellent win over Brentford.

Everton boss Sean Dyche revealed at his pre-match presser that midfield duo Amadou Onana  and Idrissa Gueye, have groin issues and will be facing late fitness tests. at Goodison Park.

Neither Arnaut Danjuma or Dele Alli will be involved  but Andre Gomes is back in training on grass and likely to make it.

Dyche made it clear Hueye’s injury is setting down and that decisions on him and Amadoud will be made before the game.

He added:  “Arnaut’s doing well with his ankle, but it’s obviously a long-term situation, but he’s doing really well. I just spoke to him actually before I came in and he’s in a good place on that side of things and going well.

“Andre’s been back on the grass with us, he’s going well and Dele’s focus is just on getting fit, nothing other than that. Obviously, he’s got a period to go yet, but he’s just focusing on that.”

The Toffees supporter base will be looking for that perfect end to the week but should the Hammers perform as they did against Brentford we have to have high hopes of another three points.

The Irons are unlikely to make any changes to the team which beat Brentford so convincingly to end a dismal run of games without a victory.
