Tomkins adds to growing injury list

Tomkins2James Tomkins has reportedly dislocated his shoulder in training yesterday.

The Telegraph has said that Tomkins who recently signed a new five and a half year deal have a scan today, but he could miss the rest of the season.

Alladyce is now facing a shortage of defenders for tomorrow’s trip to Arsenal, as Carl Jenkinson is unable to play against his parent club and Winston Reid is carrying a minor hamstring injury.

Tomkins adds to a growing injury list unlikely to face Arsenal with Enner Valencia (Tea Cup injury) Andy Carroll (Knee) and Carlton Cole (hamstring) all unavailable while Alex Song faces a late fitness test to play against his former club.
