Tomkins back…Rooney big doubt!

tomkinsJames Tomkins looks set to return to the centre of defence for the Hammers at Old Trafford tomorrow having been added to the squad which travelled to Tottenham.

But it will be a surprise if there aren’t a couple of changes to the side after the great performance at White Hart Lane.

Matt Taylor has staked a big claim with a fabulous performance but the major interest will centre on Ravel Morrison returning to the club  who let him leave for around £600,000.

The news from Old Trafford is that manager David Moyes says Wayne Rooney, who missed Wednesday’s win over Stoke with a groin injury, has “a chance” of being fit.

Claretandhugh’s private information is that he will be on the bench at best!

Nemanja Vidic is also doubtful, while Michael Carrick and Robin van Persie are definitely out.
