Tomkins on the right back role

|

James Tomkins has explained he’s happy at right back and ready to continue in the role.

The 26-year-old is confident that he can continue to improve in a new position saying: “I’m still learning there.”

Talking to the club website he said: “It’s a completely different experience for me – I’d be able to count the amount of times I’ve played there on two hands. ”

I’ve had a couple of good performances there against some good teams so it’s been a good test for me. I want to play anywhere for the team and I’m enjoying it at right-back.”
