|

Gokhan Tore is injured with a quads muscle problem and the estimate is that he will be sidelined for a minimum of five weeks. Here’s how ClaretandHugh Facebook forum members reacted to the news.

O Such a pity… 🙂
O How did he do it? It wasn’t running about or tackling? Maybe he was trying some. Anyhow wish him better.
O Not a fan of his, but certainly don’t wish him injured. Could this possibly mean that he returns to Besiktas early?
O Same injury as Ayew’s by the sound of it. Too many soft tissue injuries at our club. How can Byram pull a hamstring 4 minutes into a game – doing a diving header – after a full warm-up? Slav seriously needs to investigate our conditioning team
OOn a Bristol City tour I did when Danny Wilson was manager, his policy was any player suffering a muscle injury in the first 15 minutes of a game had to give his weeks wages to charity
O At last our luck seems to have turned! About time!
O Can we terminate his loan early?? Don’t wish a injury on the bloke but let’s be honest he simply isn’t good enough for the Premier League!!
O I don’t think too many people will be to worried about seeing him out. But for me it’s yet another player injured must have had almost a full team out so far this season
O There is a god.
O Don’t know what Bilic saw in him! Won’t be missed.
O These reactions. Are they solely on the player’s performances?
Or because you’re hiding from that it was Bilic who wanted him AND selected him?
Another scapegoat is gone.

Stay at the Boleyn and stay a little yo yo club . Went there for over 60 years and loved it but OS should have been the way forward . Another cock up by the Directors … what a shambles. Not sorry about Tore but I just hope it does not stop Bilic doing the right thing and benching Noble who is the rote cause of our problems . No cover for defence and too slow to help in attack … The pitch is too big for him I have been told . No he has just been found out . All effort , no talent .

Yen Bubbles a bit OTT, he had a good season last year. I agree he hasn’t looked half the player this time out,his whole demeanor has changed. Even the best have a bad spell, let’s hope its a temporary thing.COYI

At least the board didn’t part with 13m for him! Maybe DS does actually know what he’s doing with these loan before you buy deals after all which will no doubt upset Deidre’s daily forum on there personal crusade to blame him for everything 🙂

I think they are still crying about leaving the boleyn. It is wearing a bit thin now for me.Tens of thousands of people lose their actual homes in Haiti & other areas that Matthew went through & they are still weeping about losing ‘our’ home.Nothing like living in the real world.

We have fans who need to get off their high horses about The Boleyn. I went from the age of four until when we left in my 51st year & then i read if i dont get a feeling then i dont understand.
I understand perfectly what we lost but i dont need a mystic feeling when i see the place or be told if i dont i dont understand.
Things like that make me mad.

Same as that Stevo, you have about 6 years on me, the Stadium was no longer fit for purpose and short of levelling it and rebuilding which I would have been in favour of, we got an amazing deal, I look forward to going to the OS every time we attend it, I can’t see that changing either tbh no matter what our results are, getting in and out of UP was a royal pain in the backside, never mind the place was gettng grubbier and grubbier. Yes I do feel sorry and wish the best to all those that are affected by the move whether it be fans or small businesses etc but we needed to move to stay competitive, we can’t move back so we need to look to the present and future make the OS a fortress COYI !!!

I know what your saying No32 & i really shouldnt feel mad but i drive past The Boleyn at least once or twice a week with my job. When i do i feel some sadness, nostalgic,of course i do.
But i really dont need is to read other fans telling me if i dont get a feeling from the place i dont understand it.Now that really annoys me.
