Fabianski:9 Unable to get close to Romero’s opener. Made a good save in the 34th min from Lo Celso. Forced into action frequently.

Coufal:8 Got forward on occasion but the Spurs attack was relentless in the first half. Word incredibly hard all game and produced a number of crosses.

Zouma:8 Close to scoring from a Ward Prowse corner. Hugely busy and clearly struggling with mobility.

Aguerd:7 Outjumped for Spurs opener but made some telling interceptions.

Emerson:8 Tried to get forward but Paqueta repeatedly lost the ball in front of him. Immense in the second half.

Alvarez:7 Under immediate pressure from relentless Spurs attack. Probably had to work harder than any other player.

Soucek:7 Not hugely involved but had a decent volley from an offside position. Some good interceptions.

Ward Prowse:8 Immediately put Coufal under pressure with a poor pass but played the pass of the match to the same player in the second half. Scored The Hammers second but needed two bites at the cherry after his first shot hit the post. Incredible work-rate.

Paqueta:6 Awful first half but started the second half like a different player.

Kudus:7 Started the game playing centrally. The only player to cause Spurs any concern early in the game. Set up Paqueta for a free header 6 yards out which he missed. Gambled with a shot which pinballed into Bowen’s path. Worked so hard he was exhausted after 75 mins.

Bowen:9 Really struggled to get involved in the game in the first half. Started and finished the goal which drew the Hammers level at 1-1. Selfless block thwarted a Spurs attack. Selfless chasing forced West Ham’s second.
