Tottenham Warning Issued By Former West Ham Boss Moyes

Former West Ham manager David Moyes will apparently be doing everything possible to help keep the Hammers in the Premier League and send Tottenham Hotspur down this weekend.

There had been plenty of speculation over whether Moyes would fully commit to Everton’s trip to North London given the Toffees realistically have very little left to play for this season.

But the man himself has now made it crystal clear that he would love to see West Ham survive.

Moyes Focused On Helping Everton Win

Much of the discussion over the last few days centred around whether Moyes might still hold lingering grievances regarding the manner of his departure from the London Stadium.

However, during his press conference ahead of Everton’s clash with Spurs, Moyes made it abundantly obvious that his focus remains fully on winning for Everton whilst also hoping West Ham stay up.

The former Hammers boss said:

“I’d love to keep West Ham in the league.

“I really hope they stay up.

“We’re taking this game seriously.”

West Ham Still Need To Do Their Job

Frankly, that will be music to the ears of every West Ham supporter.

Well . . . everyone except Spurs fans, who will no doubt already be muttering about conspiracies.

But make no mistake about it, the odds still remain heavily stacked in favour of Roberto De Zerbi’s side.

Out of the nine possible combinations of results this weekend, only one keeps West Ham in the Premier League.

Ultimately, the Hammers still have to do their own job and beat Leeds United at the London Stadium.

But for anybody worried Everton might simply go through the motions on Sunday, Moyes’ comments should hopefully put those fears firmly to bed.

That is absolutely correct, by possible combination of results it’s 9-1 against that we stay up…
