Transfer News: Irons cool on target

|

AdebEmmanuel Adebayor’s hopes of landing a West Ham loan deal are no better that fifty/fifty with Slaven Bilic continuing to study his striker requirements.

The Spurs misfit is reportedly eyeing a move to Upton Park but with around a dozen possible tarset togets on their list Adebayor is set to face a wait which could prove fruitless.

Bilic made it clear yesterday the difficulties facing clubs in their hunt for strikers and although Adebayor is one name on his list, at 31 he doesn’t really fit the manager’s age profile

The other difficulty is that the Irons don’t want to get into what may turn out to be prolonged talks with Spurs where chairman Daniel Levy is a well known hard line negotiator.

He scuppered a deal in the last transfer window as he wasn’t prepared to do any kind of wage-sharing deal on the striker and with the present deadline looming, the Hammers can’t afford the luxury of protracted talks.

ClaretandHugh was told exclsuively: “He’s a possible on the target list but the it would be wrong to put it any stronger than that.”

Not too impressed with the pilot episode of Sitting with dinosaurs but it’s hard to argue with such experts especially when it’s stated we played as well in the second half of the season as we did in the first ffs. One big circle jerk of old has been pals. As it’s based in the Middle East it’s little wonder they don’t like us over there. Complete delusional b@llocks! The only plus point is that we now have Slav and not him.

Hope if this is true it’s because he can deliver Yailik,
He always wanted him, I only know what I can read or Google but Slav knows him well,

Slav isnt interested in an expensive striker,he just wants the cheapie, freebie or loan version.Canchaz said so & as the man who lives in Slavens head i believe him.I mean why would any manager want an expensive top striker. It makes no sense at all,lol 🙂

Age,attitude, application, consistency, wages too high and dealing with Levy, just six reasons why I’d say no. I just hope money isn’t spent purely to appease the fans constant shouting for a striker. History of injuries to our main men suggest we need a new striker but it’s got to be a step forward not just for the sake of it.

Too Inconsistent for me, do we need players who are cast off’s, just because They want to remain in London? NO!
