Transfer window: We’re not done yet

By Gonzo

A report from a French journalist is claiming that West Ham target Tarem Moffi has officially left his current club and joined the Irons in a £21m transfer. On this side of the channel there has been not such confirmation, and the story does seem a little premature.

However it is understood that manager David Moyes is looking to bring in more attacking options to bolster his squad, with Danny Ings already arriving from Aston Villa on Friday.

Ings made his debut as a substitute on Saturday as West Ham got a valuable three points against fellow relegation candidates Everton.

However, Moyes still wants more attackers and it seems that Lorient forward Terem Moffi is still of interest.

The report emanates from French publication Mercato Plein, who claims that a €24m deal is now completed.

Moyes has been chasing Moffi for most of the current window. However, it was thought that the two clubs could not agree on the final details and payment structure of the transfer.

But Mercato Plein is adament that a deal has been finalised, and that Moffi closing in on a move to The London Stadium. The article even suggests that the Nigeria international has signed a deal until 2026.

The 23-year-old has made a big impression at FC Lorient this season, scoring 12 goals in 18 Ligue 1 outings thus far.
