Triple Newcastle threat for the Hammers

By Hughie Southon

Newcastle boss Eddie Howe hopes to beef up his attack with the possibility  of three players returning to his team at the London Stadium this weekend.

The Bar Codes boss sees his team sitting in 11the position with seen points after drawing with Crystal Palace at the weekend whilst the Irons will be trying to lift themselves out of the bottom three.

Howe – a former fans favourite to take over at the Hammers – however saw Callum Wilson, Allan Saint-Maximin and Bruno Guimaraes miss that game but believes they may all have chances of appearing against the Hammers.

It would see the Toon midfield and attack refreshed as his team look for their second win of the season although he is not fully convinced they will all be available for a match which is now of crucial importance to the Irons who will be hoping that striker Gianluca Scamacca is available to join the squad after illness

The Magpies head coach said . “Hopefully, they’re not going to be far away. Maybe not all three together, but certainly we hope to get a couple back soon.”
