Tube troubles may cause k/o delay

TubeMany West Ham and Bournemouth fans were facing a nightmre journey into Straftford this afternoon when the Central line was suspended after an announcement that there  was “a person on the line.”

Our picture (right) shows the queue which developed after a train terminated at Leytonstone around half an hour ago and the line remains suspended after the incident.

There are fears this could lead to a late kick off but we will attempt to keep you updated.

The central line is of course the main underground route through Stratford from Liverpool Street and beyond from the west and Epping from the east.
