Tuchel’s late Broja decision

Thomas Tuchel was forced into making an eleventh hours decision to leave Armando Broja out of his pre-season squad for Chelsea’s tour of the USA.

The striker is the Hammers’ top target for the summer transfer window.

There have been delays over a deal because it has been unclear if Broja will travel with Chelsea for their first batch of pre-season fixtures but his agents have now insisted that they need to iron out his future.

There is admitted interest from the Hammers, as well as Everton and Newcastle, and him not being included in the squad could well open the door to a sale.

We know that the Irons are ready and waiting to table a bid in the region of £30m and the agent demands have forced Tuchel to leave him in London.

Broja scored nine goals for Southampton last season and Moyes wants to bring a new striker into the club this summer.
