Turkish window still open but Iron staying at West Ham

West Ham hopes that Andriy Yarmolenko could be snapped up by any one of four interested Turkish clubs are dead in the water.

The Irons are ready to sell the Ukranian international but the Turks are only interested in a loan deal having little money to splash on a fee or personal terms.

Süper Lig outfits  Besiktas, Fenerbahce, Galatasaray and Istanbul Basaksehir have all been linked with the player who has a poor injury record with the Irons and was top earner on a reported £115k a week until the arrival of central defender Kurt Zouma.

The transfer window in Turkey doesn’t close until Wednesday so there is time for a deal to be done but it’s not going to happen.

A Hammers source made it clear the money simply wasn’t available in Turkey and that the suoper Lig is not a competition whch interests too many Premier League players.

  1. It’s funny because most of the injuries Yarmolenko has had in his career have been since he’s been at West Ham and now that he’s finally been fit for six months or so and he’s playing well for his country we are talking about getting rid of him.
