David Gold’s determination not to be driven off Twitter will have been tested to the limits by a troll who appeared to have really got one up on the co chairman
It was subtle and well executed leaving Gold, for now anyway, seemingly without an answer to his very clever wind-up.
The fan – obviously not happy about their impending move to the Olympic Stadium – seems to have caught the boss cold.
Here’s the tweet which got things on their way and the co chairman on the back foot.

The real estate market for houses is just a little bit different than the real estate market for stadiums.
What an idiot. .If I could arrange a 99 year lease on £10m house and only pay £1k a year I’d sell my house right now!
As madjoy points out the markets for houses is a bit different to that for stadia.
