Two pictures which show the Irons despair

Two pictures which show the utter despair that has overtaken the Hammers .

The usualyl ultra cool Manuel Pellegrini and his number two  Mario Husillos bury their heads as the thoroughly awful Hammers slip to a humiliating defeat on Saturday evening.

Meanwhile the much heralded return of Marko Arnautovic ends in disaster tonight as he hobbles away from the ground after the match on crutches and his face creased in agony.

With two days of the transfer window to go there is next to no chance of signing an adequate replacement as the Hammers move from chaos to disaster.

Arnautovic’s injury looked bad at the time and the picture of him clearly in great pain afterwards is very bad news given the current form of Carroll, Hernandez and Perez.

Even Antonio could make little difference when swapping positions with the Austrian before he left the field of play.

The manager and his number two meanwhile look to have a job and a half on their hands to sort things in time for Liverpool.
