Uefa drop Hammers badge boob

Image

Uefa created the first boob of tonight’s game between the Hammers and Dinamo before the players had even got onto the field.

No sooner had the teams been announced and published on the team sheet that the eagle eyed among the supporters were left smiling as the club’s old badge had been used.

It would have certainly delighted those who still hold the old club – if one can call it that in the highest esteem – as the club made its so long awaited return to Europeam football

West Ham introduced their current badge after moving to the London Stadium.

Despite all that the IronsĀ  will be looking to make sure they make an impact in the Europa League this season and also ensure that they are not one-off participants on the European stage.

West Ham face experienced European campaigners in the Croatians, but will only have to deal with 2,000 home fans inside the Maksimir this evening.
