Unhappy Noble hits out

slaven-bilic-and-mark-nobleMark Noble was not a happy boy after two more big points were thrown away at the London Stadium.

He said: “The goal we conceded could have been avoided. It wasn’t the most enjoyable game of the season but at this stage of the season three points would have been massive for us. Unfortunately we didn’t come away with them.

“We are not happy. We have got a draw but at the end of the season it could be a massive point for us. We’re now four games unbeaten at home and looking forward.

And the captain addressed some sharp words at the media who are making life at the stadium hell for all concerned.

He said: “I’m hoping sooner or later it settles down [stories about the stadium]. Every little thing is picked up by the media and massively blown out of proportion.”

  1. Unfortunately when your strike force is as toothless as ours every mistake is magnified ten fold.Last season we could afford costly mistakes as we were scoring for fun. What a difference this time around.Yes there have been problems with the stadium but that’s to be expected as its all new,but its the lack of goals that is causing huge problems on and off the pitch. If Carroll and Sakho cannot hit the ground running once they are back fit the owners are going to have to go all out and try and buy the elusive striker we are all crying out for come January. And no silly loan deals which have proved a nightmare in the shape of Zaza and Calleri.

  2. Nice words Nobes now can you learn how to pass the ball forward instead of sideways and back?

  3. I think Noble should keep his mouth shut and save his breath for running …oops … forgot .. he can’t run .Again he was horendous . Giving the ball away , passing backwards and watching Stoke players run past him . I am sick of seeing him week after week letting the team down . He has so little ability how can he lead by example . Dimi and co must wonder what they are doing in the same team as him let alone with him as skipper . Shame it was only a yellow card … Red would have got rid of him for longer .

    • Bubbles don’t you know its sacrilege to have a go at the illustrious captain no legs? Or should I say Nolan 2 🙂

      • The untouchable Nobes. If you make an honest assessment of his performances you get accused of making him a scapegoat..so basically he can never be judged anything lower than 9/10 every match or you are picking on him according to some.
        It’s a joke..

      • Yes GW it’s Nolan all over again.Just about every week we hear the “mea culpa” from Noble on behalf of the team and it is wearing quite thin to be honest. I am seeing a season’s finish just outside relegation.See if we can keep hold of Payet, after that?

  4. Noble aka Nolan should have been benched weeks ago but apparently as he’s one of our own, playing with poorer players or some other excuse trotted out by the blinkered Nobes fan club they’ll keep on defending him 🙂

  5. I was still drinking by the bar for the first 20 minutes of the second half, I came out as we scored then proceeded to watch another 30ish minutes of rubbish, when I saw Fletcher on for Ayew and Fernandes at right wing back while Noble was still giving the ball away in midfield I feared the worst. Should have subbed Noble for Fernandes played Fletcher and Ayew up top, we were poor from minute 1 to 94 lucky I guess to even score 1 goal, Noble is a squad player now, the sooner Slav realises it the better, it’s not nice to put him down but we have to be realistic. Let’s hope we pick it up after the break although I am not fussed by the league more interested in winning something I.e s cup COYI!!!

  6. Im saying nothing.I will leave you lot to get it in the neck lool.
I do laugh at the stat freaks who rattle out Nobles pass completions % as a way of saying he was better than Obiang,Kouyate or others it week.It hardly tells the true story does it.I could pass the ball 5 yards backwards or sideways & have a 100% pass completion.
Ok i said something.I guess i am in it with the rest of you now 😀
