United media accept Rice set to remain a Hammer

|

Ok fair enough I understand that the Dec for Chelsea, Man U, Man City story is going on nowhere except in some reporters’ heads.

It’s good to see however, that the Manchester Evening News has its head screwed on.

It certainly hasn’t missed their attention  the Hammers dropped a pretty heavy hint about the defensive midfielder’s situation for the next season on our official website yesterday (Thurs)!

They pointed out, quite rightly, that it looks pretty certain  he would be staying at the London Stadium when the Irons  featuring him heavily in the  new kit launch coverage.

Yes, Dec has been launched with the Old Trafford club but you hardly feature him heavily in such coverage if there’s a chance he will be on his way.

Mind you a few Hammers sceptics or pessimists will probably argue the point.

However, as the MEN reporter suggests that whilst he has refused a new deal you don’t use players in such videos if they ain’t gonna be around.

Spot on.
