After a strong campaign last term West Ham are struggling somewhat this time around, a situation that only throws fuel on the fire that Payet could look to force a move away in January.
He added: “The situation at the club affects me, but I’m an ambitious person.”

Personally i would rather have him say it would be fun to play for Arsenal when asked in an interview (it would be fun i suspect),than him tell us all he is 100% committed to us,he wants our babies & will never be leaving at all & then p*ss off in January 😁😁 😁

Everything I’ve been reading about Payet since the Euro 2016 tournament is complete bolleaux. Just about everyone outside of the club has manipulated and twisted every quote, non-quote and rumour! ……Two plus two adding up to seven every week.
He’s had to much smoke blown up his arse from Del and Rodney and by Captain Slow! Every week you hear Dimi’s this or Dimi’s that but never hear he’s overweight doesn’t seem to give a **** or can’t be arsed tracking back 🙂
As I said under the original story, a bit more politely, just shut up Payet! We would all like a bit of fun in our work. But for now just concentrate on giving us -the supporters-a bit of fun. That would be a nice change for us, and it is part of your job after all. If we all cleared off to the Emirates we would have more ‘fun’ than we are getting now, but we happen to love the club that you get paid by.
We should never have put him on such a pedestal. He was fantastic last year but to put a shirt up in the new stadium with his name on the back after one good year of football was the wrong decision. Others have spent years building their reputation for the same prize.
I think it has to come to head. We should sit him down and say give us until the end of the season. The better you perform the better chance you have of going to a bigger club. He needs an incentive to perform. Last season he wanted to prove the whole of France he was a good player, this year he feels for one reason or another he has nothing to prove. I am sure his attitude will be affecting the dressing room.
Sell him for 25m in the summer, add that to the 50m budget and either give Bilic or a new man money to invest in quality acquisitions. Learn from last summers mistakes. 4/5 quality players should be brought in with that money. A GK, RCB, CDM, LW, CF.
I agree with the feeling above that Lanzini would come into his own as the main No. 10. Play the kid through the middle of the park.
25 mil for the 17th best player in the world??? We were paying 20 odd for Zaza. 20.5 for Ayew. He is worth a lot more than 25mil in todays market!
Dimi you ain’t bigger than the club so if you want to ply your trade elsewhere put in a transfer request and go! But just remember that without us your were just a another player at Marseille that had been dropped from your national side because of a bad attitude so maybe it’s time to put your heart into it when your in claret and blue and not poncing around looking like petulant kid 🙂
He wouldn’t get in their team at the moment. And I don’t believe we would sell him to another London club and they aren’t going to pay him anymore than we do. On another note, maybe Samuelson and Martinez should get a game. They might show a bit more effort than the senior players at the mo.
