Upton Park shut for Nobes testimonial

|

marknoble_726Upton Park underground station will be closed on Easter Monday 28th March when Mark Noble’s testimonial is due to be played!

TFL has confirmed there will be no service on the District line between Aldgate East and Dagenham East, and on the Hammersmith & City line between Liverpool Street and Barking. Replacement buses will run instead. TFL will be suspending the congestion charge over Easter. https://tfl.gov.uk/status-updates/major-works-and-events/easter-travel?cid=easter

There is an equally grim outlook on overground trains with hundreds of National Rail planned engineering works taking place over the four-day break. http://www.nationalrail.co.uk/service_disruptions/119030.aspx

The fixture, which kicks off at 2pm will feature Hammer’s stars including Paolo Di Canio, Rio Ferdinand, Anton Ferdinand, Matthew Etherington, Carlton Cole, Craig Bellamy, Scott Parker, Stewart Downing, Jack Collison, Danny Gabbidon, Bobby Zamora, Dean Ashton, Yossi Benayoun, Trevor Sinclair, Ian Bishop, Julian Dicks and Ludek Miklosko.
