Valencia has the longest medical in history

ValenciaThere is still no official announcement about the transfer of Enner Valencia to Mexican team Tigres despite undergoing medical tests since last Friday.

An official tweet from Tigres said on Friday “Enner Valencia arrives to the city to undergo medical exams and chat with the Tigres’ directors,”

There has been no official comment since Friday on the striker’s future although the Mexican team did post photos of Valencia training with them today.

West Ham agreed to cut their losses on Valencia by taking a 50 percent loss on the striker. The Ecuador international cost the Hammers £12 million but with two years left on his deal the board are prepared to let him go to get his £40,000 per week wages off the wage bill.

Valencia scored 10 goals in 61 appearances for West Ham after his move from Mexican side Pachuca in the summer of 2014.

  1. I had an ominous premonition that getting him off the books wasn’t going to be a straightforward affair, and I refuse to believe that West Ham will get anything like £6 million for him – I think he’ll end up being a total write-off!
