Valencia interest growing

Valencia_3191610West Ham are ready to cut their losses on Enner Valencia by taking a 50 per cent loss on the striker.

The Ecuador international cost the Hammers £12 million but with two years left on his deal reports have emerged that Porto are ready to give him a route out of his Hammers hell.

Slaven Bilic wants the forward off his wage bill and after a mediocre spell on loan at Everton the club have decided to take rock bottom offers for the 27 year old.

The club had hoped the Toffees would make the deal permanent but in the absence of any interest in taking him the Irons are now looking to Portugal in a bid to offload him.

Valencia has two years left on his current deal and is also fancied in Turkey where  Besiktas are also monitoring the situation.

And were an offer to be forthcoming with the chance of Champions League football, Valencia could be swayed in that direction.

  1. How about we pay £5m and swap Valencia for Ozyakup?

  2. You couldn’t make that deal in FIFA 17 let alone real life!

  3. I still think West Ham will have to PAY someone to take him of our hands!

  4. Remember when Valencia & Sahko were like Batman and Robin? I remember our forward line functioning quite well then. Then maybe I was just dreaming that? lol

  5. I remember they were the amazing dynamic duo, then AC got fit, Slav changed a winning team and we were back to bouncing balls off his bonce… never the same after that!

  6. Hi HammerHeadz, I don’t ever recall us being a winning team under Slav with Sakho/Valencia – They have hardly started together under our current boss – think you may mean Big Sam?

  7. Hold on….cant he run really really fast? ; )

  8. Sakho and Valencias early season promise was during Fat Sams time in charge.Bilic had nothing to do with it.He was at Beisiktas at the time i would imagine. Its good to see im not the only one suffering from loss of memory lol

  9. Valencia always shows up for Ecuador amd as played well for us not great. But I think in another league he could do quite well.
And especially if we are to get traore which to me is a non essential buy bc Right winger is a strong position for us. Yes he has pace and with right coaching good be brilliant. But we have priotised what we need. So I think we need to get £6-£8m for Valencia which in this mkt I think we can get didn’t have a bad season at Everton and if he shows up for Ecuador like he always does we should get that
And Sahko has been broken for so long this coming up season he will have to stay and try and proof himself to save his career I don’t see us selling him
