Valencia linked with Swansea or Stoke exit

valenciaHead of Sport for the Daily Mail and West Ham fan Lee Clayton claims both Swansea and Stoke are interested in signing Hammer Enner Valencia on transfer deadline day.

Clayton tweeted: “Transfer latest: Enner Valencia to Swansea City, talks taking place. Other interest in Valencia from Stoke but Swansea leading the field. He’s lost his way at West Ham”

Other reports suggest the Swansea approach is a season long loan with an option to buy.

Aston Villa owner and chairman, Dr_Tony Xia has ended speculation of Valencia joining Villa.

Fan site ‘The Villa Zone’ held a twitter poll with 4,292 Villa fans voting on whether they wanted Enner Valencia to join. Although 40% said Yes a resounding 60% said No.

The chairman responded saying “No need to vote. I called a stop after I watched three games!”

Last week the Daily Mail said Championship side Norwich were interested in the Ecuador international while the Birmingham Mail said West Bromwich Albion could still make a late approach before the transfer deadline finishes on Wednesday.

  1. Yes ! I hope he has lost his way ? Ffs ! I hope he’s heading up the M1 as we speak 🙂

    • Hey Johnboy,
Not a very decent way to treat a guy who is definitely down on his luck.

I for one, would like to say,”thanks for the good times Enner”; good luck in the future!

      COYI

      • Yes, you’re right – I’d like to say ‘thanks for the good times’ but I can’t think of any – that’s not strictly true, I think he once had a half-decent game against Hull – apart from that he’s been a load of dog poo!

      • Down on his luck is an understatement max ?
He’s now got food tasters on board ?
After the man city game my mood changed towards him ? Lol.
I’m more like commissioned Dreyfus at present . 😉

  2. Yeah nice. Next time villa are trying to offload one of their players we should get our chairmen to advertise the fact their player is ****. To be fair all of their players ARE ****. That’s why they got relegated.
