Crocked Enner Valencia has revealed he won’t need surgery on the knee and ankle injuries he suffered against FC Astra last Thursday night.
Early fears voiced to ClaretandHugh that he faced a six month lay off have eased and the Ecuadorian international is now hoping for a return to action by November.
After a visit to a consultant specialist this morning, Valencia took to Instagram to announce: “I would like to thank everyone for the support and the affection shown on this difficult moment.
“Thank God, today I received great news as I won’t need surgery, all the best!”
The club has still not said when they expect Valencia to return – and with record signing, Andy Carroll, also out injured, boss Slaven Bilic remains desperate for reinforcements to his frontline.
Still…it’s 4 months…
Because many of those games were sub appearances consisting of a few mins.Simeone clearly felt him good enough to take him to Atletico & Slaven obviously wants him.I will take that knowledge from two managers at the top of the game over a few youtube clipping, wikipedia reading fans, lol
Ah that’s why. Cheers Terry. Ha.
Can someone more educated than I please explain why we’re knocking ourselves out to bring in a striker who has only scored one goal in twenty seven games?? That being the case we may as well of kept CC,bless him.
That is great news.Unlike you johnham i dont expect amazing things from him but would prefer a fit Enner to a crocked one 😉
Great news, top man and top player. I have a feeling that he could be sensational this year and that we will see the very best of him.
