Valencia takes aim at Reds

PulpEnner Valencia has taken aim at Liverpool – all that remains is for the trigger to be pulled!

The £12 million signing showed  his amazing shooting ability with a goal which many are still talking about against Hull.

But ClaretandHugh’s chief analyst Leroy Rosenior was just as impressed with his aerial power.

Valencia himself looks set to become a hero to fans who have long waited for a sight of such skill and power at Upton Park.

And speaking to www.whufc.com the Ecuador international said: “Obviously Liverpool on Saturday is a big game. I think every single player would want to be on the pitch for that game.

“Hopefully I can be and if we win it can be a stepping stone for us.

“I’m getting used to the style here. I played 10 or 15 minutes in the first couple of games, but I got my chance to start on Monday and I think it went well.

“The rhythm in the Premier League is unique and it’s a very physical game. I enjoy it and I’m looking forward to more.”

And of his strike against Hull, he said: “I’ve always tried shooting from distance but I haven’t scored too many goals from there, but luckily I got this one and it’s one of my best, for sure.

“I practise shooting like that a lot. It went well during the week and thankfully it was the same in the game.
