Valencia/Carroll in line for Swansea

|

Carroll-West-Ham-team-news-541122Enner Valencia and Andy Carroll are set to line up alongside each other for the clash with Swansea on Sunday.

And although there remains a slight doubt it looks likely that Diafra Sakho will be on the bench for the match against the seventh placed outfit.

Swansea disposed of Queens Park Rangers on Tuesday evening and who have been beaten once in the last five games.

And ClaretandHugh has learned that both Mark Noble and Alex Song are set to play a part in what looks a very tasty match-up between two highly in-form sides.

We were told: “Swansea are a dangerous team and we are very hopeful that the three injured players from Tuesday night will be in the squad.

“We are encouraged by Diafra’s progress and he could be back whilst Enner got useful minutes under his belt against West Brom. At this stage it would seem that he and Andy are the likely front line.”

That would be my starting front 2 for Sunday with Sakho to join the fray after 60/70 mins depending on circumstances of course. My word it’s all coming together isn’t it. I’d start one of Noble or Song at least Sunday as we seriously miss them if at least one doesn’t start.

I really believe someone is going to get a right tonking off us this month as our players come back to fitness. Eleven different scorers for us this season, the last 9 goals scored by different scorers! And we have not had a player score more than one in a match, I suggest one of our strikers will score a brace or more soon.

I’m going for 3-0 to West Ham Sunday with Carrol Noble and Jenkinson to score. That will be the last 12 goals by different scorers, surely a record!

      Lol mate.
I was just hoping that the returning players (noble and song), would be able to give us some of the energy and zip that was missing during the week.

The possible return of Sakho is a bonus as is the game time gained by carroll and Valencia, if they start together on Saturday it will be a big advantage for them.

I was happy to go for a close hard fought 1-0 win but I am more than happy to go along with your 3-0 prediction! COYI!

I’m too full of it at times Phil, but I’m very much in the camp you have to enjoy it while you can. The comparisons to last season are interesting. This season we seem to be approaching the Christmas period with all our injured players coming back, last season they were falling like flies. Long may this feeling continue.
