Valenicia speculation on the rise

|

ValenciaactionEnner Valencia is being reported as remaining a target for Jose Mourinho.

The Hammers striker was reported as a Jose Mourinho target in the last transfer window but ClaretandHugh was told this evening: “There was never any official inquiry – never mind a bid.

“And the famous report that they had offered £8 million plus Loic Remy never happened. We heard an awful lot of agent talk but that’s par for the course in January.

“Enner remains very much a part of the Hammers future and it would take a very big bid indeed for us to even give it a second thought.”

However, that hasn’t deterred The Express from resurrecting the story in which they say that the 25 year old will be a summer target.

However, with change afoot at Upton Park the player – who has been forced to operate wide on several occasions – will be keen to see what the Hammers future holds should he be operating, as seems likely, under a new manager.

If Chelsea is going to pay over the odds for him, let him go. Then replace him with Benteke when Villa go down.

  • bubs says:

Benteke would make a good replacement for Carroll similar sort of player but a bit better on the ground,
If we are going to grow as a club we have got to stop selling our best players,Valencia has been messed about ever since he arrived and not one complaint now how often does that happen nowadays, why are we talking about money as supporters ?
At there age Valencia and Sakho are our future to build on and we need to add to them, goodbye Cole, comeback Zarate one more chance Carroll unless Newcastle offer silly money,
Gomis will come next year Swansea are already looking for His replacement,

  • New606 says:

Remy and twelve to fifteen million might be tempting

  • bubs says:

Remy has turned us down twice already and he sulks when he doesn’t get his own way
    Who that sound like,
Would play in the same place as Sakho or Carroll,
Valencia offers us something different and if we are not going to play wide men we would be better off loading Jarvis why he has any value,we only have Downing and Alfitano at the moment that gives us width Nolan,Son,Noble, Kouayte do not give us the option.
If Valencia goes we need William,Oscar,Hazard or Cayhill in exchange and Money
And that’s not going to happen.

It would not be surprising if Valencia agitated for the move if it happened. As bibs points out he has been messed about since the season started, by Sam.
How frustrating must it be to know you are only considered a filler to be used only as support for Carroll and never played in your favoured and natural position.
He is just another example of how Sam will mess anyone around to play his favoured style.

Can why someone tell me why we should bow to Chelsea because they want one of our players. Valencia is class, class. A bid of 50million perhaps but apart from this we should never consider selling Valencia. We are going to be a bigger club than Chelsea and people need to start believing this.

This is another typical example of Sam.I believe there is no smoke without fire when the same story keeps resurfacing. So here we have a guy that Jose Mourinho rates & may want but all Samasaurus has done in the last few months is mess the lad around.Playing out of position, being on the subs bench, being subbed often. The lad was on fire earlier in season with Sakho. Then Sams pets returned & he has never been the same player.Just another example of the sophisticated, flexible,’tippy tappy football is ********’ manager at his best.
