Viborg blow

Viborg have been handed a huge blow ahead of their Europa Conference League tie against West Ham.

The Danish club have confirmed, via Bold, that they will be without two key players against the Hammers, after failing to get them visas due to Brexit restrictions.

Ibrahim Said and Alassana Jatta are the players who are set to miss out, as they have been barred from entering the country to play in the game.

Said is a youngster who has won caps for Nigeria at youth level and he has already made 33 appearances for the club on the right wing.

Elsewhere, Jatta is a 23-year-old striker who scored in the previous round against B36 Torshavn, and has netted 17 goals in total for the club.

Viborg say they have done everything possible to try to get the pair their visas but have been unsuccessful.

They are both likely to play in the second leg in Denmark instead.
