Hammer Declan Rice told Sky Sports cameras he was pleased to make his England debut with a win in front of 71,000 fans saying it was what dreams of made of.
Declan said: ‘To have my family here tonight, my girlfriend and brother watching is icing on the cake”
Rice explained when he got the call to strip down and come on he just wanted to do what he has done for West Ham all season, to be confident, it is just a football pitch, it is just 11 players and go out there and play his normal game. He grew in confidence as the minutes went on saying he really enjoyed it.
Rice tried to put the previous 24 hours behind him adding “I was 15 at the time, I apologise for it again, I look forward to the future now, I take to have a strong mentality and look forward to playimng my football for my country and my club”

Strange he said exactly the same thing when he made his Ireland debut
Let it go mate.
Sorry mooro. I know. I’m just a proud Irish west ham fan and really can’t get over what he’s done.
Great piece on Declan on the BBC Sports site. https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/47614547
There are much worse things happening out there. I’m very philosophical when it comes to minor sporting disappointments.
