By Hughie Southon

The most legendary Hammer ever probably – with the exception of Mooro – is Sir Geoff Hurst who will forever be remembered for his hat-trick that led England to World Cup glory in 1966.

And below. a trailer for a new documentary film of his life will be released which showed that whilst he hit the hit the highest of highs on 30 July, 1966 he also suffered serious lows in his life.

The Mail reveals that Hurst: The First and Only, which will air on Sky on November 13, will dovetail his rise to becoming the hero of the 1966 final with his grief at losing his younger brother to suicide and his eldest daughter to a brain tumour.

The 60-second trailer, exclusively revealed today by Sportsmail, shows Hurst admitting that 58 years on from England’s final win, that squad, then managed by Sir Alf Ramsey, get ‘more recognition of what was achieved than there has ever been’.
For those of us who were so fortunate to be there on the most magical day in our footballing history this is a not to be missed movie
Please, please, please Hammers young. middle aged and old – DON’T MISS THIS MOVIE
My personal favourite Hursty story was when he left the after-match banquet and said to boss Sir Alf Ramsey: “See you at the next game gaffer” to which Alf replied: “If selected Geoffrey, if selected.”
