Video exclusive: Jenks v AC snooker challenge

|

Watch this great video – produced and supplied to us exclusively by club sponsors Betway – showing Carl Jenkinson and Andy Carroll taking on each other in a snooker challenge.

Two very likeable lads take themselves on after tuition from a couple of snooker professionals. It’s great fun.

There’s plenty of laughs and the competitive edge of two professional sports men at whatever they do is very obvious indeed.

This was only released within the last few minutes and ClaretandHugh is delighted to ‘premiere’ it here.

Having played for Big Fat Sam for so long, it comes as little surprise that Andy resorted to using the long ball approach.
Nice to see the boys ‘cracking up laughing’ at the start of the video, although I suppose that Jenks had the last laugh.

Getting back to soccer matters, while we often see Jenks making his tremendous overlapping sprints on the right side, did anyone recall, the superb run he made in the Everton game. This time he embarked on an amazing run, straight through the middle of an opened-up Everton defence. He began well within his own half and took the ball all the way to the penalty box, and deserved a goal, but his well-struck shot was hit straight at the GK. Did Slaven suggest this to him, did he learn from Kouyate’s steaming runs down the field, or did he do it for reasons we may never know? looking forward to more of this exciting play, and most importantly, we must try and keep him at West ham on a permanent basis. Think he might enjoy playing at the OS, and he seems to be very popular with him team-mates! Do you think we should try and secure a deal with Mr. Asene. Comments welcomed

Mr Asene is asking for £15m so unless he changes his valuation I would not bother trying to secure a deal for Jenkinson. If we handed him back to Arsenal at the end of this season and waited until the the next Jan transfer window we could prob pick him up for £5m

Pretty certain I saw Carol try and play a lot of long balls there.
