Video: Hairs up on back of neck during this ‘Bubbles’

We had the national anthem….we had fireworks…and we hade a great team as our opposition.

BUT nothing – nothing on earth – could compare to our fans signing ‘Bubbles’ at full throttle ths afternoon at the official oprning and if prizes were being handed out for the biggest moment of the afternoon we reckon this might be it.

The familiar music has such an upbeat feel at the start but then listen when it stops and it’s just you – the diehard hard core fans – giving it large.

You have and will continue to hear many versions of our famous anthem but there will be few that will raise the lump in your throat quite like this version.

Listen and be very proud of your Hammers heritage and being part of this amazing family. This really is a moment to savour.

  1. Sky reporting Josh Cullen back off to Bradford on loan for 6 months.

  2. Just listened to it on my iPad . And the hair stood up on the back of my neck and arms , again . That was loud . It means that everyone of the 52,000 fans were singing Thier lungs out . COYI .

  3. Atmosphere was great. Felt louder than the Boleyn – feet stamping was a nice addition and something I hope to hear more of (provided it doesn’t make the retractable seating collapse…)

  4. Whammers
