Video: Here’s why we want Iheanacho so badly

Kelechi Iheanacho remains the Irons big summer target and it’s probably easy to see why when taking a look at his goals in 2016/16 for Manchester City.

This morning came news that Leicester City – who were believed to be favourites to get him – may have turned their attention elsewhere and that will be a big boost to the Hammers who have had the Nigerian as their No 1 target for weeks.

In this video we see clearly why the lad is rated so highly and perhaps why Manchester City are insisting on a buyback clause being involved in the deal.

The Hammers have agreed that “we can live with that ” but with an legal issue still to be settled over his representation the waiting game goes on.

In the meantime take a look at why the Hammers are intent on bringing this exciting talent to the London Stadium.

  1. He is ideal for a team playing on the counter as we mostly do.

  2. You are such a tease Southon.

  3. Can’t deny he would be A great signing . 🤞

  4. If our level Of ambition on moving to the LS is Andre Gray then we are basically a bargain basement club . Not worth our Heart and Soul support . It would make us look like what we aspire to be ,,, cheapskates .
Iheanacho or Hernandez , on the other hand would give us something we are sorely missing. And that is something that would warm the cockles on cold Saturday afternoon .
It really is becoming hard to swallow . I want to support a club / team that are not going to be the whipping boys and laughing stock of the Premiership . Very very very tired of it .
I want to be able to cheer and celebrate and not be content with mid table . Fed up with being a yoyo club .

  5. Well you know how to cheer a man up when he has just got in from work Kevin Lol

    • The West Ham board , in my opinion , are obligated to cheer us up and it’s not happening , James . Doesn’t even look like happening right now . Hope to high heaven they prove me wrong but , with names like Andre Gray being bandied about ??!!. Well .

  6. Iheanacho plus either Hernandez, or Giroud in our starting eleven v Manure, would be just fine.

  7. Got to agree with Kevin. After our last transfer window and the dealings last summer our board needs to be making a clear statement of intent by showing us some appreciation and getting the Ianeacho deal over the line and securing Gironde or Hernandez…..if we end up with mediocre token gesture signings it’s will, for me, represent an intent to lead fans on in order to boost season ticket sales and little else.

Let’s face it….Payet left us because we were playing ****e and because we never made good on our word to build a worthy team around him. That’s my opinion from reading between the lines anyway…….,
