Hugh Southon is a lifelong Iron and the founding editor of ClaretandHugh. He is a national newspaper journalist of many years experience and was Bobby Moore's 'ghost' writer during the great man's lifetime. He describes ClaretandHugh as "the Hammers daily newspaper!"
Not the greatest of opposition but to see the ball being played along the ground, players moving into space and younger players given an opportunity was a breath of fresh air after 4 years of hippo smog that engulfed the club.
