Video: Palace Preview

Two weeks that have seemed like a lifetime are about to come to an end with our trip to Selhurst Park for the 5pm Saturday fixture. Perhaps a rest was what the team and the fans needed but the international break has been like the death of a thousand cuts as the media have taken pot-shots at West Ham.

Anyway, onwards and upwards with hopefully a couple of players returning to bolster our under-performing team. Will Cresswell start, will Zaza play up front and will Noble be dropped to make way for Obiang are just a few of the topics discussed in our preview.

On the subject of Zaza I was on the phone to C&H’s Commander in Chief Hughie today and when the subject of Zaza came up he said . . . . .  .  “Ahhhh, Simone Zaza. So bad they named him twice”.  I quite liked that although it does beg the question why our Besiktas loanee is not called Toretoretore.

  1. Despite all of our problems I am looking forward to this, though a third 3-1 away win seems unlikely.

  2. I’m looking forward to the game and would love to see people get behind our players and encourage them instead of slagging them off. I remember how long it took for tevez to settle in but once he did and he felt the fans were behind him he was on fire. I feel some of today’s more fickle fans wouldn’t have given him the time.
