A completely meaningless statistic – just like “West Ham haven’t lost to Hartlepool in the league, ever” – when West Ham have never played Hartlepool in the league. Pellegrini, as a manager, might have a good league record against Newcastle, but what matters is the team’s record; & much more than that, how it will perform today. I tend to think that, being West Ham, Carroll will score the winning goal ! But, hope not !
