Video: Samuelson amazing solo goal for Posh

SamuelsensOn loan Martin Samuelson scored an amazing individual goal for Peterborough today to win the game 3-2 for the Posh.

West Ham Chairman David Gold tweeted earlier “Just had a call from my pal Barry Fry at Peterbo’gh telling me that Martin Samuelsen beat 7 (he exaggerates) players to score the winner. dg”

As the video below shows, it might not be seven players Mr Fry exaggerated but he certainly goes past four to score this fine solo goal.

Posh director of football Barry Fry  has previously told ClaretandHugh: “If we can keep this kid until the end of the season we’ll win the league. He is absolutely brilliant and going right to the top. I’ve been in this game a long long time but this lad is as good as any I’ve seen at this age and he has a brilliant attitude towards everything. We will do all we can to hang on to him. He makes mincemeat of defenders.”

  1. What a goal! Di Canio-esque!

  2. His loan is just about done. Bring him back and play him in the cup to get used to first team football. He is going to be a star.

  3. Its better for him to play there !
He and west ham will benefit from it !
His turn will come , be patient .

  4. Posh want him for the rest of the season,Slav should have a word with him and if he wants regular football this year the let him stay if he wants to comeback and push for a place then it would be great to have him as backup,
In the last 6 games he could have been the difference between us drawing and Winning

  5. If he’s good enough he;s old enough then get him back for the 2nd half of the season. start to play him instead of likes of Noble and Song

  6. How come they are sending Poyet back ?
    Or is that bull

  7. …anyone notice the opposition that our lad stuffed? Yes: the hated Sheff Utd, who took WHU to court and walked away with our £35 million – Thieving ****s. The courts should have taken a whole season into account, not a few games for the Tevez affair.
I’m loving them languishing in League 1.
They were relegated 2 seasons on the trott, because they were rubbish, and even our ‘stolen’ £35 m couldn’t change that. I hope they go bankrupt. I still look out for their results hoping they miss the League 1 playoffs – so far so good!
Hope they all wonder who that kid was that walked through their defence costing them the 3 points, and in discovering it is a lad from West Ham, it gives them nightmares!! Yeeessss…When Samuelson’s time comes at West Ham, looks like he si going to be pretty special. One to look forward to! COYI!
