West Ham beat Manchester United in the FA Cup semi final in 1964 at Hillsborough, Sheffield. 65,000 watched West Ham win 3-1 to go to the Wembley final against Preston. Managers moaning about the state of the Boleyn ground pitch should look at this video.

OT whatever happened to the OS documentary? It has magically vanished… lol 😉
It is still there http://www.claretandhugh.info/video-blog-amazing-journey-from-upton-park-to-stratford-jump-aboard-this-is-not-to-be-missed/ Just not pinned to the top anymore
thanks 😉
I was there! What the video doesn’t show is the build up to the 3rd goal. Mooro’s brilliantly timed tackle in the penalty area, subsequent dribble through the mud to the left wing where there was the only patch of grass, and a perfectly weighted pass into the path of Geoff Hurst. A rehearsal for a late goal scored by Sir Geoff a couple of years later at Wembley.
Mini. It is my abiding memory of Mooro. Anyone else would have Row Z it . Not the man. What a day what a 90mins. My greatest Irons experience STILL!
