We are still waiting for the final answer on William Carvalho but the Hammers remain confident that a deal can be done.

Since the days of Savio I have made it a rule not to watch videos of players who might be joining us. I made an exception for this guy & wish I hadn’t watched it now! I know some of the tactical experts on here have found fault with him, but to me he looks to be part of the answer. We do need at least one midfielder who can tackle, hold the ball & pass it safely & accurately. He seems to fit that bill. You can watch a video clip on youtube on any player and it makes them look good.EG i just watched a clip of gorkhan tore and he looked like the best thing since sliced bread(we know otherwise!)and while i’m about it why do they have to accompany those clips with dross electronic music(Yeah i know i’m an old git).
