Villa boss gives early Irons thoughts

|

Remis-first-presserAston Vila’s struggling boss Remi Garde has delivered his first thoughts on West Ham at an early Christmas week presser which started at 9.15 at the club this morning.

There were no real surprises in anything he had to say as he claimed we were very efficient away from home adding: “They don’t concede a lot of goals.

He added: They defend well and are dangerous on the counter attack. It will be tough.

He said: “We’ll need to find the balance of playing at him with some good attacking play but be wary of the counter attack.

And he said: “It’s a season of strange results. I look at Bournemouth’s results against the big teams and take heart from that.”

shows you how things have changed. A few years ago villa were right up there in the league, playing in Europe etc and we were in the championship. Looks like villa are heading towards the championship and we are heading towards Europe. (Hopefully). When you hear the villa manager compare our upcoming game to Bournemouth versus one of the big teams you realise how true this is.
