Villa boss Unai Emery faces injury problems

Aston Villa boss Unai Emery is facing some injury worries as he prepares for the weekend game against the Hammers.

The game kicks off at 4.30 on Sunday and will be shown on Sky with the Hammers two points and two places behind Villa who sit in fifth place.
It gives us the chance to break back into the top six and is another critical game – aren’t they all?
One piece of good news for the midlands outfit  is that they MAY have left back Alex Moreno back for the first time last season when they drew 1-1 with Liverpool when he was hit with a hamstring issue.
He was in the Villa squad for the game against Palace last month and travelled for their European game but remained uncomfortable.

He is expected into training this week but whether Emery will want him in the team facing red hot Jarrod Bowen is another question.

He is also keen to ensure he is entirely recovered. Emery also faces the absence of  Jacob Ramsey who faces more time on the side lines after a former foot injury flared up again.

Tyrone Mings suffered a long-term knee injury  at Newcastle United on the opening weekend of the season and Emi Buendia may also be missing.
