Villa in trouble as Hammers get ready

Villa boss Unai Emery faces injury problems

There is always plenty of smoke and mirrors going on at this time of week when managers offer injury news but it does seem that Villa are in a spot of bother.

The Hammers have a fully fit first team squad with the exceptions of Aaron Cresswell and Ben Johnson and are set to put out their best team which looks likely to be: Areola, Coufal, Aguerd, Zouma, Emerson; Alvarez, Soucek, Ward Prowse, Paqueta, Bowen and Antonio.

However,  Villa boss Unai Emery will be able to put out his with Álex Moreno and Jacob Ramsey definitely ruled out.

Emery gave his own update on things at his press briefing and revealed they were both still injured and would be unable to make it for Sunday’s game.

Ramsey too will be missing along with long term injured duo  Tyrone Mings and Emi Buendía which clearly gives the Villa Park boss some real problems.
