Villa owner rejects Valencia approach

valenciaAston Villa owner and chairman, Dr_Tony Xia has ended speculation linking Enner Valencia to the club after watching him in action for three games.

Like West Ham co-chairman David Gold, Doctor Xia has taken to twitter to answer fans questions on social media.

Fan site ‘The Villa Zone’ held a twitter poll with 4,292 Villa fans voting on whether they wanted Enner Valencia to join. Although 40% said Yes a resounding 60% said No.

The chairman responded saying “No need to vote. I called a stop after I watched three games!”

Last week the Daily Mail said Championship side Norwich were interested in the Ecuador international while the Birmingham Mail said West Bromwich Albion could still make a late approach before the transfer deadline finishes on Wednesday.

  1. Lol… that’s impossible, Dr Xia, look closer… Jonham has a highlight collection of Enner’s career… you can borrow it if you want, you’ll change your mind… lol (just joking Jonham ;-))

  2. He’s obviously been watching the same games as us! The bloke is complete ****e and the more we play him the less he will be worth!

  3. Loool so now even Championship clubs are pulling the plug because he is sh1te.He is ours for life lmao

  4. He is Dr.No lol. This is going to turn into a nightmare I’m telling you.We are going to be stuck with Biggins you are right Stan.An Enner is for life not just for Christmas.F*ck sake no 🙂

  5. Loan him out to Spainif we can’t sell him, in the right club he will be successful but he is too lightweight on the ball for the PL, I liked him the last two seasons but this season he has been very poor. We need to strip back the deadwood now we are out of Europe, Valencia, Sakho, Henry and Obiang are surplus to requirements now.

  6. Bad news, we thought we might be able to palm him off on a Club in Crisis like Villa but no such luck!

No self respecting Club would take this waste of space on – it’s looking like the only way to grt rid off him is to pay off his Contract like we had to do with Maiga!

  7. Wrong time to sell an out of form player. Wait til January and sell him to a team at the bottom who are struggling and are desperate to survive relegation.

  8. Real life panto ?
Could be the longest running farce in history ?
Could end up as a WHO DONE IT ? Lol. 🙁

  9. Slav made a massive mistake in refusing to sell him before we brought in two replacement strikers. I don’t think he has played well for 15 months. Too lightweight, constantly makes wrong decisions, poor ball control. I could go on. And all the time we had Fletcher and Samuelson, both of whom would have given the side so much more going forward while at the same time gaining invaluable experience. And please someone explain to me why Slav continues to start him??? It’s getting to be like the BFS/Nolan syndrome all over again.

  10. There must be someone we can palm him off on ( me old China).
