No Coufal against Saints – err what’s going on?

|

By Hughie Southon

It is probably accepted by all Hammers fans that Vlaadi Coufal is be best right back at the club.

The 30 year old played in the two Czech Republic international during the European qualifiers with Moyes explaining the situation concerning him at the pre-match presser.

He said that he hoped the two games had brought him up to speed for a Premier League return.

Quite why they wouldn’t have done was not made clear probably because his mind was already made up that he would be playing Thilo Kehrer in the right back position anyway.

Until the game is actually played it seems an unfathomable and one also feels sorry for Areola who has done absolutely nothing wrong since taking over in goal but is replaced by Fab.

David Moyes claims competition is good – not that we need telling – but those two changes in particular have left me scratching my head no doubt along with a few others.

I sope I am proved wrong but I simply don’t understand the Coufal decision in particular.

Coufal is the only RB at the club lol.
I still can’t believe Ashby never got a fair go.
The only winger come Left or Right back that has been ok is Bowen. The rest have been not good enough for league one

Thought Kehrer had his best game for us, much better delivery than Coufal
I was gutted for Areola but Fabulanski had a good game too
