Vlasic destiny set

Nikola Vlasic is going to join Torino permanently sooner rather than later.

The Croatia international was a flop at the London Stadium and was loaned to the Serie A club in the summer transfer window.

He has been a hit in Italy, making 12 Serie A appearances and scoring three goals, while also laying on one assist.

Torino have an option to sign Vlasic for £12.9m and it looks inevitable that is going to happen, and Vlasic himself will be desperate to see the deal go through.

A new report in Italy from Tuttosport claims Vlasic would have activated the permanent clause already if it were his decision, and has made it clear to Torino that he wants to stay.

There is also a suggestion Torino could speak to the Hammers and attempt to reduce the fee involved, provided they buy him outright in the January transfer window.

In his time at West Ham, Vlasic only ever scored once.

  1. He was a big hit in his first few games. Don’t think he’s scored since has he?

  2. Hard to say if he was a flop or not, never really got a run in the side, Moyes obviously didn’t fancy him. Always looked pretty handy when he did play, didn’t give the ball away as easily as some of our current midfielders.

  3. He just didn’t fit with Moyes, as is the case with others. Moyes plays his favourites. He was an international before we bought him and has done well since we moved him on. Good luck to him I say.
